Why do people walk away from the Lord?
The ones who leave have left us because they were never of us according to the writer of hebrews. They left the Lord because they didn’t know whom they owed their life and salvation to.

In this sense, Paul is ing that those who believe in Christ are obedient to His will, and that they submit to Him as their Lord and Savior.
