Our friendly carhops, as they are called, will be bringing you your food on roller skates or roller blades and taking special care of you. If you want, they will come and get your SONIC trash and dispose of it for you when you are done eating. We will also be providing you with the opportunity to meet some of the most talented skateboarders from around the world.
You will have the chance to ask them questions about the skateboarding lifestyle and how they got into it. They will tell you all about their favorite tricks, tricks they have done and tricks that they would like to do in the future.

How does Sonic Drive-In work?
You can browse the menu and add items to your bag with the Sonic app. You can pay for your order with a credit card or a Sonic gift card.
When you arrive at the store to pick up your order, pull into a stall and use the app to barcode the front of the register.
Sonic has partnered with a number of major retailers, including Target, Best Buy, Walgreens, CVS and Rite Aid, to offer a variety of Sonic-branded products.
Do Sonic workers have to skate?
A lot of customers seem to tip more if you are on roller blades. I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a customer tip less than 20% on a roller blade.
I think the reason for this is that the customer is more likely to be in a rush and want to get their money’s worth.
If you’re in the middle of a busy day, you may not have the time to wait for a tip, so it makes sense for them to just go ahead and tip as much as they can.
How do I check in on Sonic app?
The driver then picks up the customer and drives them to their destination. Sonic’s service is currently available only in New York City, but the company it plans to expand to other cities soon.
Is there a Sonic that you can go inside?

Why did Sonic stop using roller skates?
I was a roller-skating carhop, which was a unique experience, considering that many sonic locations have done away with skating server altogether due to safety or efficiency concerns. I learned a lot about the menu, culture, and secret menu items during my time as a carhop. The menu is divided into two sections: the main menu and the “secret menu”.
