Select offices are now open EVERY Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sacramento – The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) now offers Saturday service every weekend at 60 field offices from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On a first-come-first-served basis, all services, except behind-the-wheel exams, will be available.
DMV will also be open on Saturdays from 9 a m to 4 p, and on Sundays from 10 a m to 2 p and from 1 p to 3 p in the following counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Los Angeles, Marin, Monterey, Napa, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Solano, Sonoma, Tulare, Yolo and Yuba Counties.
DMV offices now offer Saturday services every Saturday between 8:30 and 5:00 pm., with the exception of offices that are closed on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. In addition, the DMV is now offering Sunday service at all of its offices, including those that have been closed for the holidays.
