The new center will be located at the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in Richmond. The new location will allow DMV employees to meet with customers in person and answer questions about their driver’s license or identification card.

Can I go to VA DMV without appointment?

Sundays, centers will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p. m. “This is a great opportunity for people to get their driver’s license and get back to work,” said DMV Director Brian Newsham.

Even if you are a current Virginia resident, this applies to all applicants.
