Let it sit for a couple of days, or up to a week, depending on how much you want to use. When it’s ready, remove the jar from the heat and let it cool to room temperature. You can store it in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.

The use of a portable, unpowered craft on the majority of public beaches in the United States is legal. However, there are a few exceptions to this rule: Paddleboards may not be used on any public beach that is open to the public for swimming, wading, surfing or other recreational activities. This includes, but is not limited to, beaches that are designated as “no-swim” or “swimming only” beaches.
The exception does not apply if the beach is a designated swimming beach or if it is part of the National Recreation Area (NRA) or National Wildlife Refuge System (NWFS) that has been designated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) as a swimming-only beach. If you are unsure about whether a particular beach falls into one of these two categories, you should contact the NWS directly for more information.
In addition, paddleboards are not allowed on beaches where the water is too shallow for a person to stand up on their own. For example, a beach with a depth of less than 1.5 feet is considered to be a shallow beach and is therefore not a suitable place for paddleboarding.
