Do I need a hunting license to hunt on my own property in Oklahoma?
The hunting and fishing provisions of this section are not applicable to resident landowners or tenants who hunt only on land owned or agriculturally leased by them. (b) A person who hunts or fishes in a state park, state forest, or state wildlife refuge is not required to obtain a hunting or fishing license.
However, the person must be at least 21 years of age to hunt or fish in state parks or wildlife refuges, and must possess a valid license issued by the Department of Natural Resources. The person may hunt and fish only in the park or refuge for which the license has been issued.
This exemption does not apply to the following persons: (1) Persons who are members of the United States Armed Forces or the National Guard; (2) persons who have been honorably discharged from a military or naval service; and (3) any other person for whom a license is required by federal law.
Can I hunt deer on my own property in Oklahoma?

Is it legal to hunt deer at night in Oklahoma?
A typical time to start a hunt is five to six AM. Note that Oklahoma is particularly strict on light sources for nocturnal hunting. You will not be able to use night vision gear. Hunting with a little help from your truck’s headlights is not allowed in the state. Oklahoma is one of only a handful of states that don’t allow the use of flashlights for hunting at night.
For example, you can use a flashlight during the day if you have permission from the owner of the property you’re hunting on. If you are hunting in a state that allows night-vision hunting, such as New Mexico or Wyoming, then you may use your headlights to help you find your quarry.

The land needs to be accessible from a public road. The minimum size for hunting properties is 40,000 square feet. Applicants must have a valid hunting license. Applicants are required to submit a copy of their license to the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) within 30 days of the date of application.
Hunting license fees are non-refundable and are due at the time the license is issued. License fees can be paid online at www.dnr.wa.gov or by cash, check, money order, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Discover Card are accepted). The DNR is not responsible for lost, stolen or misdirected licenses.

Can you hunt with an AR 15 in Oklahoma?
