Is Snow Summit or Bear Mountain better?
Snow summit has more traditional runs while bear mountain focuses more on terrain parks. Big Bear Mountain and Snow Summit are located next to Big Bear Lake, making for some beautiful vistas of the lake and surrounding town when you’re in the area. Snow Summit is located on the west side of Yosemite National Park, which makes it easy to get to and from the park.
It’s also a great place to visit if you want to take a break from hiking or mountain biking. The park is also home to a number of hiking trails, so you’ll be able to find a variety of trails to choose from. You’ll also find plenty of places to eat and drink at the resort, as well as a lot of activities for kids to do, such as snowshoeing, rock climbing, and snowmobiling.
Can you ski in Big Bear in February?

Does Big Bear require masks?
Face coverings are not required at big bear mountain resort. All public transportation, including shuttles and shuttle buses, requires them. Facial hair is not permitted on any of the following areas: Campgrounds, picnic areas, hiking trails, or any other areas that are open to the general public. All facial hair must be kept in a ponytail or tied back with a hair tie.
Hair must not be worn in any way that could be mistaken for a hat or other head covering, such as a headband, bandana, scarf, etc. The following are not allowed on the mountain: Any type of headgear (including hats, headbands, scarves, earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, and earmuffs) that covers the entire head.
This includes hats that cover the whole head, as well as headwear that is attached to a person’s head (e.g., a baseball cap) or is worn over the top of a face mask.
Does Costco Sell Big Bear lift tickets?
Big Bear Discount Lift Tickets when we run out of tickets, we found that some (not all) Costco stores are offering a 4 pack discount lift ticket to Snow Summit or Bear Mountain. The ticket price is the same as the regular price, but the lift tickets are discounted by a dollar.
Does Bear Mountain have night skiing?
The easiest way is to take a lift from the parking lot on the east side of town. If you have a car, you can drive up the road and park in the lot across the street. You can also take the bus, but it is a bit more expensive than taking the lift, and you will have to wait in line for a while before you are allowed to board.
