With the new TLC the stego can easily become a must-tame early game dino for many players. You can change stances between pressing C (crouch) and heavy plate, boosting thatch gather rates and applying a heavy attack.

The teeth show that stegosaurus was an animal. It had a big gut to break down the plants it ate. Stegosaurus might have been a prey for Allosaurus, Torvosaurus, and even Triceratops. Stegosaurids were the first dinosaurs to be discovered in North America. They lived in the Late Cretaceous period, about 65 million years ago.
Does a Stegosaurus eat meat?
Stegosaurus was an herbivore, as its toothless beak and small teeth were not designed to eat flesh and its jaw was not very flexible. Stegosaurus, unlike other herbivorous, beaked dinosaurs, did not have strong jaw muscles, which would have allowed it to bite hard enough to break bones. Are Tek Dinos better?
The main difference is that they can level up to 180 on the official level chart. This means that you will have a much higher chance of getting a rare item if you are lucky enough to find one.
For example, you cannot get the legendary sword “The Black Sword” until you reach level 140, and you have to go all the way to the very end of Act 2 to obtain it. You will need to complete the main story questline.
