The tread and air unit make the peg 37 an almost ideal road to trail, dirt road easy trail shoe for me, and most of my testing was a mix of pavement and hard packed smooth dirt. I did not have any issues with the shoe flexing at all, but it did feel a little stiff in the forefoot area.
