This is most likely due to the fact that she did not know about the murders until after they were committed, and thus was unable to prevent them from happening.
However, this does not explain why she didn’t try to stop them, as she would have been able to do so if she had been aware of what was going on at the time.

Sakura died in the most gruesome way possible when Haruki decided to change his ways. It’s not a happy ending, but it’s a very sad one. This is one of my favorite episodes of all time, and I’m not just ing that because it was the first time I watched the series.
I love the way the story is told, how the characters interact with each other and with the world around them. She’s been gone for so long that it feels like she’s never coming back. Second, we get to see how much Sakura has changed since she was a child.
We see her grow into a strong, independent woman who is willing to stand up for what she believes in, no matter what the cost. Third, the episode ends with a cliffhanger, which is always a nice way to end an episode. I really liked the ending.
