While entering your tent, tent vestibules will protect you from the elements. If it’s raining outside, you can enter the vestibule of your tent and dry off before entering the main portion of the campground. You will also be able to use the restroom facilities at your campsite.
You will need to bring your own toiletries and toilet paper. There is no water available at any of our campsites. If you do not have access to a water source, we suggest you bring a bottle of water with you.

Should I put a tarp under my tent?
It’s important to put some sort of tarp under your tent to keep it warm and dry. Dew will run down the tent walls and collect under your tent if the tarp is extended too far. If you are camping at the beach, don’t put a tarp under your tent because it will get wet. If you are going to camp in the rain, you will need a rain fly.
Rain fly is a piece of fabric that is attached to the outside of the shelter. It is designed to catch rainwater and keep your shelter dry and warm. You can buy rain flies at most hardware stores or online. They are available in a variety of sizes and colors.
The most important thing to remember is that you need to buy the right size and color of fly for your particular tent, and that the fly needs to be long enough to cover your entire tent area. For example, if you have a 4-person tent with a 3-foot-wide tent fly, then you would need at least a 2.5-inch-long fly that covers the entire area of that tent (4 x 3 x 2 feet).
How do you put a tarp on a tent without trees?
If you can’t find a tree that will give you height for your tarp, the best option is to use a pole or branch. You will need at least one pole or branch for the tarp‘s higher end, as well as guy lines to attach it to the ground.
If you are using a pole, you will want to make sure that it is long enough to reach the top of your tree.
If you have a tree that is over a foot in diameter, it may not be possible to extend the pole to its full length, so you may need to cut it down to a length that will fit.
